  16. The 2021 LI Awards opened for submissions on 29 April, welcoming everyone from the sector to submit their projects. We are delighted to share some recent updates. All Awards Open Categories and Professional Categories this year introduced a discount for sole traders and those in the public or third sector (such as voluntary groups, charities and NGOs). Green Flag Award has joined the LI Awards for the first time, sponsoring the Landscape and Parks Management Category, in line with their 25th anniversary. Entries will close on 8 July. The finalists will be announced in September and the winners at the Awards Ceremony in November (hosted by James Wong, British ethnobotanist and TV presenter), celebrating the brightest and the best from the sector.
