We are happy to announce that Carlisle City Council in partnership with the Landscape Institute has launched a two-stage design competition “Start with the Park: St Cuthbert’s Garden Village Ideas Competition”. It is open for both professional and student design proposals to form the centrepiece of a new Garden Village located to the south of Carlisle. Stage one submissions close 10th September 2021. Entries to “Start with the Park: St Cuthbert’s Garden Village Ideas Competition” are open! It welcomes submission from both Professionals and Students across a range of disciplines. Following a ‘Start with the Park’ approach, Carlisle City Council is looking for creative designers to work with them on delivering innovation in blue-green infrastructure and landscape-led masterplanning.
