Bee bricks become planning requirement for new buildings in Brighton

New planning laws in Brighton and Hove aim to improve biodiversity outcomes in the city, with all new buildings over five metres required to include special bricks that provide nests for solitary bees, as well as bird nesting boxes suitable for swifts.
