Antonella Adamus
I love all things Holland (so much so that I have a degree in Dutch!) and landscape-related, and this news article really jumped up at me. Every three years, The Netherlands hosts the Landschapstriennale (Landscape Triennial); the postponed 2020 edition took place last month in the Van Gogh National Park in the Dutch province of North Brabant. During the event designers, experts, local people, entrepreneurs, artists, agriculturists and policymakers will come together to address the challenge of initiating a broad, shared discussion on the subject of landscape. Under the title ‘High Green – Innovating the Landscape’, 10 landscape laboratories will be the heart of the programme, each addressing a concrete challenge that is both internationally relevant and locally applicable, and which will come under the spotlight during the Landscape Triennial 2021. Click on the link above to find out more and, fear not, the brochure and programme are also available in English 😀.
Abi Palmer-Greenwood
This is really interetsing! I'm sure a lot of others will appreciate it! Thank you for sharing Anto!
Simon Odell
Another great event next year will be the ten-yearly Floriade (https://floriade.com/en/) It is the closest thing you will get to the National Garden Festivals we used to run (the Dutch have been doing it longer though). It would be great if the LI organised a coach trip (not flight) there for members as the learning opportunities could be so much more. (e.g. with https://www.tailored-travel.co.uk/ ) I tried to get both Phil and Dan interested in this. Eventually someone will do it, I am sure. (Maar heb je een poffertjespan, Antonella?) Laura Schofield
Funny you should mention it @Simon Odell , Floriade is somewhere on my holiday (busman's holiday!) bucket list for next year having visited Almere in 2019 (day trip from Amsterdam by train and bikes). Fascinating city anyway and would definitely go back especially when Floriade is on.

Amanda McDermott
The Floriade is a traditional 2B pilgrimage... if anyone wants to organise a coach tour for us, I expect we'd be in! https://www.2bconsultancy.co.uk/2b-blog.php?pid=22&p=&search=floriade&topic=#blt

Amanda McDermott
I agree - but can't take credit, it's @Simon Odell's idea above!
